Wildcard SSL Certificate

The * character replaces a "fixed" sub-domain with a "variable" one.

There are no limitations on how many sub-domains can be created and secured by a single Wildcard SSL Certificate. Make sure you create a CSR with a common name of *.yourdomain.com.
