Ronald DeTemmerman

General Manager GlobalSign Belgium

Ronald DeTemmerman joins GlobalSign as General Manager of GlobalSign NV and is responsible for pan European operations.

Originally joining GlobalSign in 2002 as a strategic account manager, Ronald was responsible for business development providing digital certificates for new business gains.  With his success in this role Ronald later joined leading security specialist CyberTrust in 2004 as business development manager and was responsible for the managed identity portfolio of products, before rejoining GlobalSign after its acquisition by GMO Internet Inc from CyberTrust in 2006. With GlobalSign instating a new management team after this acquisition, Ronald was appointed General Manager of GlobalSign’s Belgium operations in 2007.

Prior to joining GlobalSign in 2002 Ronald held the position of xxx at Society General and was responsible for identity and authentication management of servers and mainframes as well as the leasing and purchasing of IT security products.

With a successful sales and business development history within highly technical companies, Ronald was appointed the role of Sales Manager at Interoute Telecom where he was involved in sales, CRM and telecoms.  As the first appointed sales manager within the company Ronald built up Interoute Telecom’s customer base from scratch.
